Timothy Reckart is an Oscar-nominated director specializing in stop-motion animation. His animated short *Head Over Heels* won the Cartoon d’Or and the first Annie Award for Student Film and was nominated for the Academy Award. He has a BA in history and literature from Harvard University and an MA in directing animation from the National Film & Television School. A native of Tucson, Arizona, Timothy now lives in Los Angeles.
